On 9/7/2011 we spent the day in Salt Lake City. Hailey had her 18 month check up and got a clean bill of health and 2 shots. Then we went to her surgeon's office for her 6 week post op appointment. He said that everything looks great and that we can go off the antibiotic YAAAY!!! We do have to go back in about 4 months for one more ultrasound to make sure everything is good then we are done with bladder reflux, at least with Hailey. Bladder reflux is hereditary and if one sibling has it, it is more likely that the others will have it. At least we know they won't be affected seriously by it since we catch it quickly. So to make up for the shots and the ultrasound, Geoff and I decided it would be fun to take her to the zoo. She had a blast. Absolutely loved the monkeys and the elephants. One elephant even made noise at everyone. As soon as we got in the car to go home she passed out with exhaustion. We wore our little girl out. Maybe we wont schedule 2 doctors appointments in one day.
Hailey was able to see a monkey right up close, through the glass anyway.
This is the baby elephant. Isnt she adorable. Hailey really loved her.

No doubt in my mind that Hailey loves her daddy and he loves her. They are just so cute together when they play.
